With patients ranging from newborn to 12 months, our dental practice can perform lip and tongue frenectomies, which allow your baby to nurse properly. When a baby has a tight upper lip frenum attachment, their mouth’s mobility may be limited, especially when talking in terms of the tongue. This can make nursing extremely difficult, as the baby is not able to latch onto the nipple. With the minimally-invasive procedure performed by our office, your baby can begin regular nursing within 24 hours.

While infants are more common in our office we also regularly treat young children and adults as well.
